INDIAN SPORT REIGNS SUPREME: A GOLDEN DOUBLE CROWNS THE 7TH ROLL BALL WORLD CUP IN DUBAI

Under the dazzling Dubai skyline, Indian sport authored a moment for the ages.

History was not merely witnessed — it was rewritten — as India produced one of the most commanding performances ever seen in global Roll Ball, lifting both the Men’s and Women’s World Cup trophies at the spectacular 7th Roll Ball World Cup 2025.

ConSynSer: Dubai, UAE | December 14–18, 2025 — Hosted at the iconic Shabab Al Ahli Club, the championship brought together 15 of the world’s finest Roll Ball nations, each chasing supremacy. Yet, as the final whistle echoed through the arena, it was India that stood tallest — reclaiming dominance, pride, and legacy on the world stage.

Behind this historic achievement stood months of vision, belief, and motivation driven by Mr. Tapan Acharya, President of the Roll Ball Federation of India, whose unwavering confidence in the teams set the tone for India’s fearless campaign in Dubai.

MEN’S TEAM: SEVEN FINALS, FIVE TITLES, ONE LEGACY

India’s men scripted a saga of grit, resilience, and championship pedigree. The journey began with a commanding league-stage display — dismantling Saudi Arabia (16–1), overpowering Brazil (11–2), and securing a walkover against Congo.

Momentum turned into dominance as India stormed past Pakistan (17–5) in the quarterfinals and outclassed Egypt (6–2) in the semifinals, reflecting the attacking mindset and tactical clarity consistently encouraged by Tapan Acharya in his interactions with the players.

Then came the ultimate test — Kenya, the defending champions and modern giants of Roll Ball.

Trailing 4–8 at halftime, India faced the abyss. What followed was a masterclass in belief and tactical brilliance. Drawing inspiration from the constant message of resilience and fearlessness emphasized by Tapan Acharya, the team mounted a breathtaking comeback to clinch the final 11–10.

The victory marked India’s seventh consecutive World Cup final appearance and sealed their fifth men’s world title, adding to earlier triumphs in 2013, 2015, 2017, and 2019.

WOMEN’S TEAM: ENDING A DYNASTY, CREATING THEIR OWN

Equally compelling was the journey of the Indian women — a campaign defined by dominance, discipline, and destiny.

India opened with ruthless authority, thrashing Saudi Arabia 25–0, followed by a walkover against Vietnam. The quarterfinal saw a complete shutdown of Poland (11–0), while the semifinal against Iran (2–1) tested India’s composure under pressure.

Throughout the tournament, the women’s squad displayed remarkable mental strength — a quality reinforced by Tapan Acharya’s consistent motivation, urging the players to perform with confidence and composure on the world stage.

In the final, India faced Kenya, champions of 2019 and 2023, chasing a historic hat-trick of world titles.

In a tense, high-voltage contest, the Indian women delivered a defining statement — defeating Kenya 3–2, decisively ending their reign and reclaiming the summit of world Roll Ball.

The triumph secured India’s third Women’s World Cup title, following earlier victories in 2013 and 2017, and symbolized the rise of a fearless new era.

    THE FOUNDATION OF GLORY

Both triumphs were built on meticulous preparation. Following squad selection, Indian players underwent a 30-day high-intensity national training camp in Pune, where fitness, tactical execution, and mental resilience were sharpened — a process closely aligned with the vision repeatedly stressed by Tapan Acharya.

    PROMISE MADE, PROMISE DELIVERED

Expressing his pride, Tapan Acharya hailed the achievement as the fulfillment of a promise he made at the 22nd Senior National Roll Ball Championship in Indore — that India would reclaim its rightful place at the pinnacle of global Roll Ball.

In Dubai, the Indian teams proved him right — emphatically.

    A TOURNAMENT FOR THE AGES

As the championship concluded with a vibrant closing ceremony, medals gleamed, flags soared, and applause echoed through the arena. The 7th Roll Ball World Cup Dubai 2025 will be remembered not merely as a tournament, but as a defining chapter in Indian sporting history — where perseverance met destiny, belief met leadership, and India reclaimed its throne.
